Robert Roundtree started detailing vehicles in high school out of the trunk of his car with nothing more than a small vacuum and some detail products he had in his home garage. With a lot of drive, ambition, support, and knowledge, Robert turned what he loved into a professional, thriving business.
Gainesville Detailing was started in March 2004. One of the cornerstones of their business is the quest for “Perfection”. Robert attributes this as their sole reason for success. Since automobiles change daily, Robert feels it’s their job at Gainesville Detailing, to continue to stay up to date with new knowledge, techniques, and tools to do the job right the first time. They do not experiment or train on customer’s vehicles as some other detailing businesses do. The staff at Gainesville Detailing firmly believes that sharing knowledge builds trust and lasting customer relationships and are happy to share their knowledge with the DIY audience here on Grease Monkey Junkie.
